"Return took a little longer than I hoped"
My return did get handled and the warranty team eventually got back to me, so all good there. It just took a few more follow ups than I was expecting tbh. Not a bad experience, just kinda slow

"Great piece, but the delivery headache is all I remember"
I ordered from Design Within Reach recently, and the delivery situation really soured the whole experience. The date kept shifting around with almost no notice, it took way longer than what they originally told me, and the tracking didn’t help at all. The item itself is nice, but since the delivery mess just happened, that’s the part that’s sticking with me most right now.
"Nice looking, but not exactly bulletproof"
I bought a chair and a small table from dwr.com, and I’ll admit, they both looked great right out of the box. The design is super clean, and the materials felt nice at first, so naturally I thought, wow, maybe spending this much actually means something.
A few months later, the table started picking up scratches way easier than I expected, because apparently “premium” can still mean “please don’t breathe near it.” The chair is still holding up well, so it’s not a total miss, but for the price, I definitely expected the table to be a little tougher.

"Heads up: their customer service actually responds fast"
Just a quick heads up for anyone ordering from dwr.com: I had a question about my order and figured I’d be stuck waiting a day or two for some generic reply. Surprisingly, they got back to me fast and actually answered what I asked instead of sending one of those copy-paste responses.
I was dealing with a delivery timing issue, and they helped me sort it out without making me chase them down. They also kept me updated afterward, which made the whole thing a lot less stressful. i was happy with how they handled it.

The website looks nice, but actually placing my order was kind of a hassle. Checkout felt clunky, and it took way too long to get an update on my order. Customer service did eventually respond, but it was late. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but a lot of the frustration felt preventable
